Enroll
Get your child the reading help they need.
We work with students who need structured literacy the most. Start a new application, or check on one you already sent.
New family
New application
Fill out our online form. It takes about 15 minutes and has six short sections. You’ll get a reference number when you’re done.

Enrollment status

What happens after you apply
We get your form
You’ll see a confirmation receipt right away, plus an email copy with your reference number.
Reading screening
We do a Diagnostic Decoding Survey to find out if, and where, your child is stuck.
Matched with a mentor
Your child is paired with a trained Literacy Mentor. Placement depends on the waitlist.
Lessons begin
One-on-one or small-group sessions that start where your child is, not where a grade level says.
Questions caregivers ask
How much does it cost?
Mentoring uses a sliding fee of $5 to $65 per session, based on what your family can pay. Programs we run with schools and community partners are free.
Where do lessons happen?
Our main office is in Louisville’s West End, and we also work inside partner schools. We’ll talk through what works for your family.
What curriculum do you use?
A mix of Orton-Gillingham and Wilson-based methods. Both are multi-sensory, explicit and step-by-step.
How long will my child be in the program?
As long as they need to build strong decoding skills. Every child moves at their own pace, and many make big jumps once the basics click.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes. We’re currently taking applications for the Fall 2026 waitlist. Apply now to save your child’s spot.
